At the end of the concert, a collection was made for Hope House, which raised £585 for the charity.
Emily Jones, Area Fundraiser for Hope House who attended the concert, said: “We are so grateful to be receiving a donation off the back of this concert as we rely on fundraising in and by the community for over 80 per cent of our annual need, which last year was £6.3 million.
“At present we are only able to afford to offer our help to 1 in 3 local families that need us. Our aim is to increase our annual fundraising to £10 million every year so that we can offer our services to every single family that suffers the death of a child.”
Details of the Concert can be found here.
The Choir recently held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Pryce Jones building in Newtown. Many items were discussed that evening with regards to how they felt the last 12 months had been within in the choir and what plans they have for the future.

To celebrate the switching on of the Christmas Lights in Newtown, The Choir performed a flashmob performance – singing several carols and old classics to entertain the audience.
